Congratulations on taking the first step toward making lasting change.

Seriously. Therapy is not easy. It can be challenging and full of growing pains as you shed conditioned thinking and old messages that no longer serve you.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe counseling environment for you to explore the thoughts and feelings that come up throughout this process.

I believe that you already have many of the important tools needed for personal growth. Unfortunately, throughout our lives, things happen that cause us to forget about those tools, OR we were never made aware of them in the first place.

Without these "internal resources," we are unlikely to experience the emotional stability and worthiness needed to function confidently in life. 

AND when we don't feel confident and worthy, we tend to find ourselves in unhealthy situations, toxic relationships, or struggling with depression and other negative conditions such as:

  • Feelings of self-doubt

  • Constantly putting the needs of others before our own needs

  • Finding it hard to say "no" even though you want or need to do so

  • Constantly feeling taken advantage of
